IT Infrastructure Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:

The IT Infrastructure Manager is a highly motivated IT leader responsible for planning, building, operating, maintaining, and deploying critical internal and external IT infrastructure. The IT Infrastructure Manager will take a “hands on” approach to the operations, the delivery experience, and solution life cycle. The set of responsibilities require this individual to be extremely independent and self-reliant in managing an on-premises and azure-based infrastructure while security being the forefront of all choices. You will need to be able to evaluate the current systems in place and provide recommendations on how to build a secure scalable environment based on the C-Suite’s vision for the organization.

IT tools and best practices change frequently and so the IT Infrastructure Manager will need to keep current on technology advancements and security vulnerabilities. You will have direct oversight of the IT environment including assets, network, security, infrastructure, and helpdesk along with managing one system administrator that assists in much of the IT environment. With the growth of the company, this role will also be managing growing the IT team to keep up with demands. This role will interface with department heads and C-Suite on a regular basis. You will interface with employees on an as-needed basis with regard to support and department needs. This individual will also be a visionary and technology evangelist for how operations, tools, and cloud systems could better improve operations at the Signorelli Company

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Capacity and growth planning for IT infrastructure
  • Manage and build a team including resource planning, job specification for new roles, and career development for current team members
  • Keep asset inventory up-to-date and documented with appropriate refresh planning
  • Operate and manage an internal level 1-3 help desk to support business operations
  • Maintain upkeep of current backups for firewalls, switches, wireless, UPS, servers, file/folder systems, email, and O365 resources
  • Meet with and provide reports to department heads and C-Suite to verify the company has the resources and support needed to succeed
  • Maintain IT Infrastructure for all aspects of the company
  • Create and manage disaster recovery plan
  • Must be able to manage the procurement of resources and equipment
  • Create and maintain IT infrastructure budget for multiple operating locations
  • Perform administrative duties in Office 365 & Microsoft Azure
  • Manage outsourced IT for ancillary services
  • Performs other projects and related duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • Strong networking skills (CCNA equivalent preferred)
  • Experience with infrastructure migrations
  • Active Directory (On-Premises & Azure), Azure AD Connect (Hybrid)
  • Admin experience with Adobe, Barracuda Email Security, SharePoint, Office 365
  • ManageEngine Desktop Central and ServiceDesk Plus
  • Experience in running a level 1-3 service help desk
  • SonicWall Firewall and Ubiquiti WIFI management
  • VMWare ESXi management and image management including cloud backup
  • Strong knowledge of MFA and SSO
  • Windows Server 2019 (Physical & Virtual)
  • Strong knowledge of O365 security and compliance
  • Group Policy, DNS, DHCP Management
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL databases
  • Software & hardware licensing
  • Management of Infrascale backup appliance
  • PowerShell Scripting is a plus
  • Manage network cabling & termination, VoIP, UPS, and Conference Equipment
  • Storage Management (On-Premises & Virtual)
  • Manage ISPs at multiple locations
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional manner and a strong ethical code
  • Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive
  • Commitment to working efficiently and accurately
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with team members
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, especially Excel and PowerPoint
