HISTORY OF FIRST AMERICA HOMES

First America Homes traces its roots to 1994, when Texas A&M graduate Danny Signorelli founded The Signorelli Company, initially focused on third-party brokerage and fee development. By 2010, he had become a leading land developer in Montgomery County, delivering projects across office, healthcare, retail and multifamily. 

Seeing how many families still felt priced out of homeownership, Danny expanded into homebuilding and launched First America Homes to make owning a new home more attainable. 

Today, First America Homes has grown into one of the nation’s most dynamic homebuilders, recognized on Zonda’s Builder 100 list. Under the leadership of President John Winniford, the team remains focused on thoughtfully designed, high-quality homes that bring the dream of homeownership to life for families across Texas. 

As a division of The Signorelli Company, First America Homes is backed by a land and commercial platform with deep reach: more than 16 master-planned and neighborhood communities delivered, over 23,000 paper lots in the pipeline and 1.5 million+ square feet of commercial and retail space, including transformative projects like Austin Point in Fort Bend County and Valley Ranch in Montgomery County.  

The Signorelli Company’s growth has earned national recognition on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies, along with top rankings from the Houston Business Journal for both residential and commercial development.
