Company, has launched operations in the Dallas-Fort Worth market, marking a
significant new milestone in the company’s statewide expansion strategy. The
move positions the award-winning home builder in one of the nation’s largest
and fastest growing housing markets. This market entry is consistent with The

The expansion includes the creation of a new divisional
office to oversee construction and sales operations for current and future
communities in Dallas-Fort Worth. The company has already secured homesites in
the Leonard Trails community in Anna, Texas, with plans for additional
communities in progress. The Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex joins First America
Homes’ growing portfolio of communities in Houston and San Antonio markets.

At Leonard Trails, First America Homes will deliver 81
single-family homes in the 98-acre community located along TX-5, with quick
access to US-75. Floor plans will range from approximately 1,700 to 3,200
square feet, with prices starting in the $300s. Construction is scheduled to
begin in July 2026.
Designed for everyday living and entertaining, the homes
feature single- and two-story floor plans with open-concept layouts and
flexible living spaces. Available features include chef-inspired kitchens,
private bedroom suites, spa-style baths, covered patios, game rooms, studies,
mudrooms, and home offices. The 30-foot series includes two-story plans with
volume ceilings in the main living areas to create bright, open spaces. Homes
in the 40-foot series offer expanded garages with additional storage and flexibility
for larger vehicles, workout areas, or hobby space.
Winniford said the homes are designed to meet the evolving
needs of today’s buyers while addressing underserved demand at this price
point. Homebuyers can personalize finishes, materials, and upgrades at the
First America Homes design center with guidance from professional designers.
Community amenities at Leonard Trails include a swimming
pool, playground, sports field, and dog park, along with convenient access to
retail, dining, and entertainment. Located within Anna Independent School
District, the community also offers connectivity to Melissa, McKinney, Allen,
